During art lessons at Whitmore, the children will learn a range of techniques and study great artists from a range of countries, cultures and time periods.  Children will have three units of art teaching over the course of a year.  Drawing and painting will be studied every year, with the third unit alternating between printmaking and 3D art / sculpture.  Art teaching at Whitmore is enhanced by our resident artist, Matt Mackman, who works in class and also runs after-school clubs.  Our subject leaders for art are Miss Bailey and Mrs Bayford.
